Twisted Automotive, a UK-based vehicle customization company, has introduced a bold version of the first-generation Range Rover, equipped with a V8 engine producing 500 horsepower.
The Twisted interpretation of a Range Rover Classic (TRRC) is a restomod of the classic 1970s Range Rover, but under the hood of this understated vehicle lies a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine—the same used in the Chevrolet Corvette—delivering an impressive 500 horsepower.

To handle this level of power, the vehicle received several upgrades, including revised suspension, bushings, and differentials, while the braking system features six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston units at the rear. The setup prioritizes comfort and balance, preserving the original Range Rover character without resorting to excessive stiffness.
From a design standpoint, the TRRC is something of a “Frankenstein” of different eras of the classic Range Rover. The front bumper comes from the 1970s model, while the grille and headlight assemblies are inspired by 1990s versions.

Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned. The seats, positioned lower than in the original, are now upholstered in leather. The front seats are heated, and the cabin also features an eight-channel audio system and a compact infotainment system.

Each unit is hand-built and undergoes an extensive testing program before reaching customers. The starting price of the TRRC is £350,000, and production will be limited to just 12 units per year.
Interested? You’ll have to try again next year: all Twisted TRRC units for this year are already sold out.
